Anticipation for "Fast on Wheels"

Written by Team CBS at 13:10 5/6-2013

The management team have decided that as we head into our first Tour, it would be appropriate to make our first Press Release. Team CBS (Cycling By the Sea) was formed mid way through last season and, with the exception of Henry Cleal, are all from the original roster. The team was initially formed with all Australian riders and was put together as a predominantly “sprinting team”.

It was apparent quite early that one rider, Eric Gallen, had great potential and everyone on the team agreed to make personal sacrifices to support his ambitions. So far this has paid off with Eric training strongly and winning several races as well as the Team progressing quickly to Division 5 on the back of his performances. This rapid progression brought about a change of plans with the Team deciding to enter “Fast on Wheels" this season to gain valuable experience and test themselves against established teams. Although a “young and inexperienced team”, everyone is confident that Team CBS can make a good showing and make its presence felt this season.

At the conclusion of the Tour, team management will look carefully at its roster and establish fresh objectives for Season 25.

Goodluck, Gallen is definitely one of the favourites. He should take a few bonus seconds in the sprints, and then its hoping he can keep with the favourites over the hills, and not lose substantial time in the timetrial

Gallen looks like a real contender. Might not take the over all win but he should be right up there seeing as his rs and dp are pretty high. Not having much team support will hurt him though. A couple of good leadouts would make him the favorite but he does have the skills to do it on his own I think. Good luck CBS. :)

I think he has a shot, but his lack of experience may hurt. Also the team's lack of finances could hurt if other teams have purchased staff/equipment with spare money.
Gallen is definately a rider for the future though.
